Care, with Astrid
Custom facial
A facial built around how your skin is that day: cleansing, gentle exfoliation, a mask and a massage. Astrid, our licensed esthetician, chooses each step with you.
It is a skin-care visit. There are no needles, and Astrid explains each product before it goes on.
Who usually books it: adults with a few free hours before an event, clients who want an honest look at their skin routine, and people who would rather start with something gentle.

A visit, in order
What a visit is like
- 01
Step 1: A look at your skin
Astrid cleanses a small area and looks closely under the lamp with you. About ten minutes.
- 02
Step 2: Cleanse and exfoliate
Warm towels, a gentle cleanse and a light exfoliation chosen for your skin that day.
- 03
Step 3: Mask and massage
A mask mixed fresh, with a face, neck and shoulder massage while it rests.
- 04
Step 4: Finish and notes
A last cleanse, water and a short note on what to use at home. The visit takes about an hour.
What you may feel afterward
Your skin may look a little pink or feel slightly tight for a short while. We suggest skipping heavy makeup that evening.
Before you book
Tell us first
Tell us about any of these when you book or at the start of your visit. We will explain what we change.
Allergies
Fragrance, nuts, latex or any ingredient that has bothered you.
Skin conditions
Rosacea, eczema, active breakouts or anything you see a doctor about.
Skin medicines
Anything you take or apply that thins or sensitizes skin.
Recent procedures
Fillers, wrinkle-relaxer injections, laser or a peel in the past few weeks.
Sun exposure
Sunburn or a recent tan. We will adjust or reschedule.
Pregnancy
We will choose products that fit and may skip some steps.
How many visits, and what this does not do
Some clients come before a big event, and some come every few weeks. Astrid suggests a rhythm after your first visit, and it is your call.
What it does not do
A facial is skin care. It does not treat a skin condition, and Astrid does not diagnose one or perform laser or other medical procedures. We make no promise about how your skin will look. Results vary.
When to see a doctor instead
See a doctor or dermatologist for a rash that spreads, a mole that changes, skin that is hot, swollen or painful, or any sign of infection.
